Location:
Laboratory for Conservation of Endangered Species (LaCONES) of CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, India

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in any branch of Science with a minimum of 55% marks for General (UR)/General-EWS or equivalent grade.
  • Minimum of 50% marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender, and Persons with Disability (PwD).
  • Must possess a valid National-level Fellowship (JRF/ SRF) from agencies like CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST, etc., or equivalent fellowships like DBT-BET, INSPIRE, RGNF, etc.

Job Description:

  • Engage in research focused on tropical biodiversity to understand ecological and evolutionary processes.
  • Conduct fieldwork in the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats mountain ranges to document and study biodiversity.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team exploring biogeography, phylogenetics, population genetics, and community ecology.
