Eligibility/Qualification
- Must be registered or accepted into year 1 or 2 of a full-time doctoral program and expected to complete studies in 2027 or later.
- Research must relate to at least one of the Foundation’s four themes.
- Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.
Description
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation offers financial support of up to $60,000 per year for tuition and living expenses in addition to a $20,000 annual allowance for travel and research. Scholars engage in a unique leadership program designed to cultivate engaged leaders ready to drive social change. They also benefit from a global network, experiential learning opportunities, and support in developing bilingual and Indigenous language skills.
