Research Area:
The research will focus on high-throughput and super-resolution imaging of polymeric nanoparticles to characterize their properties for potential applications in nanotechnology and nanomedicine.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A master’s degree (or an equivalent university degree) in chemistry, physics, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, or similar.
  • Research-oriented attitude and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level).

Job Description:
The successful candidate will utilize high-throughput and super-resolution microscopy techniques to analyze polymeric nanoparticles. This will involve collaborating within the Albertazzi and Voets research groups, establishing imaging methods for polymeric nanoparticles, and obtaining substantial imaging datasets. The data generated will be used to comprehend structure-activity relations and to train machine-learning algorithms for efficient design space navigation to predict the best nanoparticle formulation for specific medical applications.
