Eligibility/Qualification
- Educational Background:
- Master’s or equivalent graduate degree in relevant fields (computer science, AI, machine learning, mathematics, statistics, data science, physics, or related).
- Completion Deadline:
- Degree must be completed by July 1, 2026.
- Grade Requirement:
- Final MSc degree grade of at least 2.3 (German system equivalent) using the Bavarian formula.
- Motivation:

Job Description
As a PhD researcher, you will engage in cutting-edge research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence, working closely with a network of 80 principal investigators and accessing high-caliber research facilities at LMU Munich and TUM. The position is fully funded for three years under the German TV-L system.
