Research Area: Structural Biology, Protein Analysis, Heat Shock and Cell Death Pathways

Location: Helmholtz Munich, Garching, Germany

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Holds a Master’s degree in biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, computational biology, molecular biology, pharmacy, or structural biology.
  • Strong interest in structural biology, NMR, and/or intrinsically disordered protein regions.
  • Demonstrable experience in molecular biology, protein science, or structural biology.
  • Exceptional motivation to excel in a competitive research program.
  • Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.

Job Description:

  • Reconstitute biomolecular complexes using molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
  • Characterize proteins and their complexes through advanced methods such as NMR spectroscopy and cryo-electron microscopy.
  • Engage in molecular modeling with AI-based protein structure prediction methods.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and publish research findings in international journals.
  • Present research outcomes at national and international conferences.
