Eligibility/Qualification:
- Mandatory:
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Demonstrated experimental expertise with functional genomics data (e.g., RNA-seq, DNA methylation, chromatin accessibility)
- Proven experience with machine learning and/or statistical modeling for biological data analysis
- Understanding of molecular genetics and quantitative genetics
- Excellent innovation and productivity track record
- Preferred:
- Experience with genome-wide expression datasets and predictive analytics in plants
- Experience in molecular genetics, quantitative genetics, and systems biology
Job Description:
- Generate functional genomics datasets and analyze their application to our product pipeline using machine learning techniques.
- Work on datasets from tissue-specific RNA-seq, methylation, and chromatin accessibility experiments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, conduct, and interpret experiments aimed at leveraging functional genomics, field, or gene expression data to improve biological system performance.
- Conduct high-throughput molecular biology experiments to validate gene expression predictions through machine learning/statistical modeling.
- Utilize cloud computing environments to process and analyze data at scale.
- Provide comprehensive reports on research findings and present results to wider R&D teams.
- Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.
