GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship: The Center for Environmental and Technology Ethics – Prague (CETE-P), in collaboration with Prof. Mark Coeckelbergh, invites expressions of interest for a 3-year GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship – Incoming. This opportunity is ideal for early-career researchers with a focus on environmental ethics and/or technology ethics. CETE-P, funded by the Horizon Europe program (ERA Chairs), aims to address ethical issues related to the environment and emerging technologies.

Job Description: The GACR Postdoc Fellows will conduct their research projects within the vibrant international environment of CETE-P and the Department of Applied Philosophy and Ethics of the Institute of Philosophy. The fellowship duration is up to 36 months, allowing for in-depth exploration of environmental and technology ethics.

  • Abstract of a research project relevant to CETE-P (500-700 words)
  • Cover letter
  • CV
  • Complete list of publications
  • One sample of a recently published work

The most promising submissions will be selected by the CETE-P internal committee by 1 March 2024. Successful candidates will receive full support from CETE-P’s team and a senior grant specialist in preparation of their GACR application during March 2024.
