Global Excellence and Mobility Scholarship: The Global Excellence and Mobility Scholarship (GEMS) program invites applications for the 2024 intake at Monash University Malaysia. GEMS aims to attract exceptional PhD students to work alongside world-class research teams, addressing some of the most pressing global challenges. This scholarship program offers 15 scholarships annually from 2022 to 2024, providing funding for 42 months, including a paid placement in Australia.

Scholarship Conditions | – GEMS recipients must contribute a maximum of 10 hours per week in academic support and/or research support activities as determined by the managing School. – Mobility term in Australia must commence no later than 18 months from the course commencement date. – Scholarship recipients must commence in the year the scholarship is awarded. For example, a candidate being interviewed for the 2024 intake and awarded the scholarship must be enrolled in the PhD program by 31 December 2024. |
