Eligibility: To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have applied for and satisfy the requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or
  • Be currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne

Required Documents: Applicants are not required to submit a separate application for these scholarships, as they will be automatically considered based on their course application. However, specific required documents may include:

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. List of contacts for three references
  3. One-page cover letter highlighting qualifications and interest in the position

How to Apply: Applicants do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. If you are a new student who has applied for a graduate research course by the application closing date, you will be automatically considered for the Graduate Research Scholarships. You will receive a notification within ten business days of submitting your course application.

For current students who wish to be considered for a scholarship in the following year, an online application form must be submitted by October 31.
