Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree (Diplom, min. 4 years) in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Strong background in Organic Synthesis.
  • Additional experience in Supramolecular Chemistry and Organocatalysis is beneficial.

Description

As part of the research project, candidates will:

  • Synthesize, characterize, and utilize novel organocatalysts for enantioselective catalysis.
  • Focus on catalysts based on interlocked molecules such as rotaxanes and catenanes.
  • Enhance skills in organic synthesis, supramolecular interactions, and organocatalysis, utilizing modern analytical methods (1D- and 2D-NMR, MS, XRD, UV/Vis, HPLC).
  • Write manuscripts for publications and present findings at national and international conferences.
