About- IIIT Una is one of the 20 IIITs being set up, funded, and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The partners setting up IIIT Una are the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited, and HP Transmission Corporation Limited. Admissions to the undergraduate programs in the Institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification
- PhD in CSE or a relevant discipline with first class or CGPA 6.5/10 in preceding degrees (B.Tech/B.E., M.Tech/M.E.).
- Candidates with PhD thesis submitted may also apply.
- Candidates with UG/PG degree in other disciplines but PhD in a relevant discipline will be considered.
Desirable
- Strong publication record.
- Teaching or research experience.
- GATE qualification.

Designation
Faculty Member / Associate Faculty Member (On Contract)
The selected candidate will:
- Teach undergraduate courses in the School of Computing.
- Assist in academic, research, and administrative activities of the institute.
- Work full-time on campus at IIIT Una, Saloh.
- Present original documents at the time of interview and submit self-attested documents upon joining.
- Join the institute immediately, latest by 31 December 2025.
Important Terms
- Appointment is purely temporary for one semester and may be extended based on performance and requirement.
- Either party may end the contract with one-month notice or salary in lieu.
- No TA/DA for the interview.
- Applicants employed elsewhere must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Canvassing in any form results in disqualification.
- The institute may limit the number of applicants invited for interview.
- This position does not guarantee future permanency.
