HIAS Fellowships 2027-2028: The Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) invites applications for its Fellowships for the academic year 2027-2028. This program seeks outstanding scholars, scientists, and artists from all disciplines and backgrounds to engage in interdisciplinary research and creative projects in Hamburg.
Designation

- Artistic and cultural projects engaging with research topics beyond specific disciplines

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and conduct innovative research or artistic projects.
- Collaborate with a tandem partner from Hamburgโs academic or cultural institutions.
- Engage in the academic and cultural life of the city through required participation in weekly meetings and public events.
- Convey planned project topics to a broader audience.
Opportunities:
- Fully equipped workspace and continuous assistance by HIAS staff.
- Stipend or reimbursement of costs for teaching replacements (if applicable).
