HIF International Scholars Fellowship: Hosei University is offering the International Scholars Fellowship to young international researchers who are either enrolled in a doctoral program or have recently obtained a doctoral degree. Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must be a foreign national (including stateless individuals or foreign nationals residing in Japan).
- Must be enrolled in a doctoral degree program or have obtained a Doctorate no more than 8 years ago as of April 1, 2026, or its equivalent as recognized by the University. Periods of childcare leave will not be included in this “8 years”.
- Sufficient fluency in either Japanese or English.
- Must not have been a previous recipient of this fellowship.
- Must not be currently enrolled in Hosei University.
Job Description:
- Conduct research at Hosei University under the guidance and cooperation of faculty members.
- Submit a research report (approximately 30 A4-sized pages) in Japanese or English to the Global Education Center within one month after completing the research program.
- Publicly announce research results within two years of completion, acknowledging the support of the HIF Fellowship.
- Present research findings to Hosei University faculty, staff, and students through lectures and seminars during the fellowship period.
