Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification: Ph.D. degree with First Class (or equivalent grade) in the preceding degrees in relevant Engineering or Science disciplines, accompanied by high-impact research publications or patents.
- Experience Window: Candidates who have obtained their Ph.D. within the last two years are eligible. Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply (must submit provisional certificate within 3 months of joining).
- Age Limit: Preferably not exceeding 35 years for male applicants. A 5-year age relaxation is applicable for female and reserved category candidates.
- Ineligibility Clauses: Ph.D. scholars who graduated from IIT Jodhpur are not eligible to apply for this Institute PDF fellowship.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Selected Post-Doctoral Fellows will be engaged in cutting-edge research, advanced laboratory characterization, and academic teaching support under designated faculty mentors at IIT Jodhpur. Performance will be formally assessed on an annual basis by the Performance Assessment Committee (PAC) to decide on tenure extension and fellowship enhancement.
