The IMPRS-CellDevoSys is the International Max Planck Research School hosted at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) in collaboration with the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). Our research mission revolves around the question: How do cells form tissues and organisms? We are dedicated to training young talents who are passionate about truly cross-disciplinary research. Scholarship Description: The IMPRS-CellDevoSys guarantees full financial support for the entire duration of your Ph.D. work, up to 4 years. Financial support is provided via an MPG employment contract, inclusive of health insurance and other social benefits. Tuition fees are non-existent, ensuring a financially stress-free academic journey.

Eligibility: To qualify for our IMPRS, consider the following:

  • Hold or anticipate receiving an MSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • A keen interest in contributing to the research conducted by our research groups.
  • Strong academic performance and research experience.
  • Thrive in an interdisciplinary, international, and state-of-the-art environment.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • For BSc holders in exceptional cases, outstanding academic records and adherence to additional requirements may be necessary.
