Eligibility/Qualification:
- Early-Stage Researchers (ESR) with less than four years of full-time research experience by the application deadline.
- Must not already hold a PhD or be enrolled in another doctoral program.
- Master’s degree or equivalent that formally allows enrollment in a French doctoral school.
- Must not have resided or carried out their main activity in France for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the deadline.
- Minimum English proficiency level of B1 (intermediate) in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Open to all nationalities.
Description: The 36-month fellowships provide doctoral candidates the opportunity to propose their own PhD topics and receive support for interdisciplinary, intersectoral, and international research training. Benefits include a competitive monthly gross salary of €3,524 (approximately €2,123 net pay), family allowance (if eligible), and a €23,400 research, mobility, and training allowance. The program offers an interdisciplinary training environment and support to find a supervisor at AMU.
