Description

The PhD project investigates R-loops, which are RNA-DNA hybrids formed during transcription. These structures can lead to genomic instability when accumulated, causing issues such as DNA double-strand breaks. The successful candidate will utilize quantitative proteomics to explore how Ribonuclease H1 regulates R-loop resolution and analyze the interplay between R-loop accumulation and inflammatory responses.
