Investigador/a Post-doctoral: The Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Girona Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI) is inviting applications for a post-doctoral researcher position to join the Traslacional en Malalties Cardiovasculars Respiratories (CAREs) research group led by Dr. Tura. This role involves contributing to the project “Estudio de los Orígenes y Perspectivas de la Disfunción Endotelial en la Hipertensió Pulmonar Tromboembòlica Crònica i Embolia Pulmonar,” with official code CNS2023-145362, funded by the Agència Estatal de Investigació.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Educational Background:
- University degree in Health Sciences
- Master’s in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedicine, or related disciplines
- Doctorate in Biological or Health Sciences

- Proficient in Catalan, Spanish, and English (spoken and written)
- Experience:
- Engagement in at least one research project
- Principal author or corresponding author on publications
- Presentations at national conferences and congresses
Job Description
The responsibilities of the hired individual will include:
- Conducting experimental assays and cellular functionality studies: proliferation, migration, apoptosis, angiogenesis, and cellular adhesion.
- Utilizing molecular biology techniques: PCR, qPCR, sequencing, gene silencing, and overexpression.
- Applying cellular biology techniques: primary cultures, cell lines, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, Western blot, and ELISA.
- Engaging in advanced microscopy, including confocal, electron, fluorescence, and live-cell imaging.
- Participating as a co-author in publications and conferences.
- Supervising researchers in training.
