IonE Postdoctoral Fellowship Program: The IonE Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment (IonE) aims to accelerate sustainable transitions by supporting interdisciplinary, community-engaged scholars. Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in any disciplinary field, including interdisciplinary studies.
- Anticipated PhD in spring/summer 2024 or completed after December 31, 2018.
- Relevant skills for at least one of the existing IonE projects.
- Willingness to relocate or a preference for remote work with regular in-person engagement.
- U.S. work eligibility; non-U.S. scholars must have or be able to obtain a visa.
Job Description: IonE Postdoctoral Fellows lead 1-2 interdisciplinary projects, integrating into the team, developing project management skills, and building networks. They engage in leadership training, mentoring, and professional development programs. Fellows are part of a mentoring team, shaping experiences through an individual Professional Development Plan. The fellowship, spanning two years, includes a postdoctoral salary, research and professional expenses, basic moving expenses, and benefits.
