Eligibility/Qualification:
- A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Strong background in deep learning with a drive to advance fundamental techniques.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English (C1).
- Motivation to push the frontier of audio and speech understanding, on-device learning, pre-training strategies, physics-informed neural networks, healthcare, and high-tech systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and software engineering skills.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- Android/iOS programming experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to develop teaching skills and coach Master students.
Description: The selected candidates will work on cutting-edge research topics:
- Federated Audio Foundation Models: Advancing pre-training techniques with unlabeled private data for label efficiency, rapid adaptation, and more.
- Domain Knowledge-Augmented Representation Learning: Integrating clinical domain knowledge to improve data efficiency and generalizability.
