Juan de la Cierva Fellowships: The Systems Biology of Host-Microbiome Interactions group is actively seeking expressions of interest for a postdoc in bioinformatics through the national Juan de la Cierva call. Various projects are available within the context of national or European projects.

Eligibility/Qualification: We are seeking a candidate with a PhD in bioinformatics or a related field, possessing in-depth knowledge of R and/or Python, as well as familiarity with HPC environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in metagenomics data processing and the analysis of cohorts. Proficiency with containers (Docker, Singularity) and workflow managers (Nextflow, Snakemake) is a plus.
Job Description: The postdoc will be hosted at the Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF) in Valencia, Spain, a leading biomedical institute specializing in metabolic disorders, cancer, and neuronal pathologies. The research center, equipped with advanced infrastructure and technological facilities, spans 32,000m2.
