Junior Postdoctoral Researcher: We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic team for the “RNA and Cell Biology Platform for Research and Innovation in Medicine (RACE-PRIME)” project. The successful candidate will work under the direction of Prof. Gracjan Michlewski and Dr. Ewelina Małecka at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  1. Ph.D. in biological sciences or a related field obtained within the past 5 years or planned defense of the dissertation prior to the start of employment (planned date is 1.10.2024 or later).
  2. Strong knowledge and proven laboratory experience in protein or RNA biochemistry.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  4. Proficient in writing scientific papers for academic journals in English.
  5. Effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
  6. Good presentation skills, ideally having presented at an international conference.
  7. Track record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for working with bacteriophages, conducting bacterial infections, purifying ribosomes, performing single-molecule microscopy assays, conducting biochemical tests, and analyzing data in the RNA area.
