Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in biological sciences or a related field obtained within the last 5 years, or plans to defend a dissertation before the employment start date (on or after 01.03.2025).
- Solid knowledge and documented laboratory experience in protein biochemistry.
- Experience with structural biology methods is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficiency in drafting scientific papers in English.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, particularly in English.
- Presentation experience, ideally at international conferences.
- Publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
Job Description
As a Junior Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for the purification, biochemical characterization, and structural studies of viral proteins and their complexes with inhibitors. You will also contribute to the RACE-PRIME project aimed at enhancing research and development in RNA and cell biology at IIMCB.
