Junior Professor Chair – PRESAGER: The University of Limoges invites applications for a Junior Professor Chair position focused on System Pharmacology enhanced by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Eligibility / Qualification:
- PhD or Doctorate in Pharmacology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field
- Specialization in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
- Proficiency in R or Python for developing ML/DL models
- Experience with pharmacological modeling, statistical learning, and causal inference preferred
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Job Description:
Research Responsibilities:
- Lead development of multi-scale predictive models using ML and DL
- Integrate existing PK/PD, system pharmacology, and clinical data
- Generate and process simulated and experimental data for AI-based analysis
- Publish results in top-tier (Q1-Q2) journals (minimum three over four years)
- Collaborate with clinical and industrial partners for model validation
- Supervise PhD candidates and manage research resources
Teaching Responsibilities:
- Participate in teaching mathematics, statistics, computer science, and AI in health
- Contribute to DFGSP, DFASP, M1 Biology Health, Public Health, and One Health programs
- Optionally teach digital health, telemedicine, electronic records, and chronic disease monitoring
