Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctorate in Molecular Biology, Enzymology, Computational Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields
  • Must have obtained Ph.D. within 3 years of the start date
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Experience with enzymes and protein prediction software; familiarity with yeast a plus

Job Description:

  1. Design and conduct research on plant glucan synthases and biopolymer engineering
  2. Utilize predictive protein engineering approaches and conduct in vitro experiments
  3. Present findings at lab meetings and scientific conferences
  4. Prepare reports, manuscripts, and research proposals
  5. Contribute to decarbonizing fuel and chemical industries by enhancing sustainable carbon sources
