Eligibility/Qualification
- Minimum of a First-class undergraduate degree or a 2:1 plus a Masters in a relevant area.

- Relevant experience in research areas is favorable.
Description
LAURA’s mission is to explore aural diversity, recognizing that individual and group differences in hearing are widespread yet often overlooked beyond medical contexts. The doctoral research hub seeks candidates motivated to study innovative approaches that accommodate auditory variances in fields such as sound engineering, education, music, and architecture. Candidates will collaborate with diverse supervisors from nearly all disciplines related to sound and will have access to state-of-the-art facilities.
How to Apply
- Review the list of suggested research topics and identify a preferred lead supervisor.
- Propose a 1-page outline expanding on the project of interest and discuss it with the lead supervisor.
- Based on their agreement, develop the outline into a full PhD proposal.
- Submit your application through the Salford PGR system, ensuring to select “Leverhulme Scholarships” in the finance selection.
