Description: The LJMU-VC PhD Studentship competition offers an exceptional opportunity for talented individuals to undertake cutting-edge research aligned with LJMU Strategy 2030 and relevant Faculty Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategies. We welcome proposals from candidates across various disciplines, including but not limited to Health, Engineering, Business, Science, Arts, and Social Studies. Successful applicants will benefit from full-time or part-time studentships covering course fees and stipends, with additional support available for research costs.
How to Apply:
- Applications must be submitted by the proposed Lead Supervisor on behalf of the named PhD candidate.
- Applicants should carefully review the Guidance for potential VC PhD Studentship applicants and Directions, Eligibility, and Support before completing the application.
- Candidates must include a Lay Summary, Proposal for their research work and training, and a Statement of link between the proposed project and LJMU Strategy 2030 or relevant Faculty Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy.
- All applications, including those from ethnic minority students, should be submitted by 5:00pm on July 29, 2024, to VCStudentship@ljmu.ac.uk.
- Ensure approval from the supervisor before adding them to the application, and consider completing applications jointly to facilitate collaboration.
