Eligibility/Qualification | – Non-clinician applicants: At least a Second Upper, preferably First-class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant field. A Master’s degree is advantageous. – Clinician applicants: MBBS or MD with identifiable research experience, preferably in the form of a Master’s degree. – English proficiency: TOEFL/IELTS scores required for international applicants. |
Job Description | – Conduct innovative research within chosen research areas. – Complete laboratory rotations, attend seminars, and engage in research training pathways. – Collaborate effectively with supervisors and peers. – Prepare a research proposal and progress reports. – Complete a thesis based on original research. |
How to Apply
- Prepare a brief research proposal (approximately 2 pages).
- Obtain agreement for PhD supervision from the chosen supervisor.
- Apply online via the NTU application portal, submitting all required documents, including supporting documents translated into English if applicable.
Last Date to Apply
- Semester 1 (August Intake): Applications will be accepted from 1 October to 31 January.
- Semester 2 (January Intake): Applications will be accepted from 1 June to 31 July.
