Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Psycholinguistics, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
- Experience in experimental psychology and/or quantitative research methods.
- Strong background in programmatic experimentation and statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Comply with Marie Curie Actions mobility rule: must not have resided or worked in Ireland for more than 12 months in the last 36 months.
- Cannot already hold a doctoral degree.
Job Description
The PhD candidate will join an interdisciplinary team to research how foreign-accented speech affects human-computer interactions. The role involves attending training events across Europe, conducting experiments, and contributing to the development of research methodologies in psycholinguistics and human-computer interaction.
