Eligibility/Qualification:
- Candidates of any nationality are eligible.
- Applicants must have received or be close to receiving their Ph.D. between 01/09/2020 and 01/09/2025.
- Ph.D. defense must occur by 31/12/2025.
- The programme is open to candidates within 5 years of completing their Ph.D., with preference given to those who have not previously held a postdoctoral fellowship.
- Candidates should have a high level of English proficiency (C1 level CEFR) as demonstrated by recognized English language certificates or equivalent.
Job Description:
Max Weber Fellows will:
- Engage in research within their respective disciplines.
- Participate in a wide range of multidisciplinary and disciplinary activities.
- Receive training and support in publishing, teaching, grant applications, and academic job applications.
- Have access to superb research facilities, including a well-resourced library, shared office space, and a personal research fund.
- Be eligible for additional grants funded by various governments and foundations.
- In the second year, fellows in Economics and Political and Social Sciences may apply for a part-time Assistant Professor position, involving teaching and mentoring responsibilities.
