Eligibility/Qualification

  • Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline from a university in any country, including Australia, and the University of Melbourne.
  • Have completed their PhD no earlier than April 1, 2023.
  • Australian and non-Australian citizens are eligible.

Job Description

The McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowship provides a concentrated research period for exemplary early career researchers. This fellowship emphasizes:

  • Strengthening research projects and collaborations.
  • Developing research leadership capabilities.
  • Contributing to the broader research objectives of the University.

Fellows will receive funding at Academic Level A6 along with additional project costs up to $25,000 over the term of the fellowship, which is typically three years at 1.0 FTE.
