Scholarship Description:

MSc and PhD Scholarship in Geomechanics – IENTPE LIDS

The research project aims to evaluate the underground potential as an energy transfer and electricity production source. The focus is on sustainable development by preventing groundwater migration and ensuring the stability and sustainability of underground repository structures through a detailed study of the host formation.

Eligibility: Candidates with a background in civil, mechanical, physical, or materials engineering, or geosciences are welcome to apply. Basic knowledge in mechanics of porous media, constitutive modeling of geomaterials, and an interest in numerical methods are required. International mobility is encouraged.
