Eligibility
To be eligible for this MSCA position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Degree Requirements: Must hold a relevant Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related discipline by the employment start date (no later than January 1, 2027).
- PhD Status: Must not hold a PhD degree at the time of recruitment.
- MSCA Mobility Rule: Must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Finland for more than 12 cumulative months in the 36 months immediately before the start date.
- Language Skills: Strong written and spoken English skills are essential to fulfill formal doctoral program enrollment requirements.
- Nationality: Open to applicants of any nationality.
Scholarship Description
The selected Doctoral Candidate will contribute to advancing energy-efficient, high-performance communication systems. Research duties include developing signal processing concepts, designing energy-efficient hardware architectures for beamforming, performing system-level simulations, and designing and experimentally characterizing integrated circuit prototypes.
