MSCA-PF2024: Unravelling the rheology of membraneless organelles at Aragon Institute for Engineering Research (I3A-University of Zaragoza)
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: Soft Matter Physics, Computational and Theoretical Modeling
Location: Zaragoza, Spain
Eligibility/Qualification: The postdoctoral candidate must hold a PhD in applied mathematics, physics, or chemical/mechanical engineering. Previous experience in mesoscale computational methods for soft matter physics and the finite element method is advantageous. Candidates must hold a PhD at the call deadline and have a maximum of 8 years of full-time research experience after the PhD. Additionally, candidates must adhere to the mobility rule, not having resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline. Candidates of any nationality are welcome to apply.
Job Description: The successful candidate will join the Fluid Dynamic Technologies Group at the Aragon Institute for Engineering Research to investigate the formation and rheological properties of model membraneless organelles. Utilizing mesoscopic simulations and thermodynamics, the researcher will compare results with experimental data obtained from in vitro and in vivo studies.
How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their CV and Cover Letter to mdecorato@unizar.es. For more information about the 2024 call, please refer to the official website: MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024
