NIG Postdoctoral Fellows 2025: The National Institute of Genetics (NIG) is inviting applications for NIG Postdoctoral Research Fellows. This program aims to engage promising young researchers in research activities at NIG, contributing to the advancement of genetics research and nurturing researchers with exceptional abilities.
🔍 Eligibility
- Applicants must have a PhD degree or be expected to obtain it before arrival.
- Proficiency in genetics research is required.
- Previous enrollment at NIG before March 31, 2024, disqualifies applicants.
🕒 Period of Employment
- Initial employment is up to 3 years, with annual reappointments.
- Start date can range from November 1st, 2024 to October 1st, 2025.

- Successful candidates will work as project researchers under a discretionary working hour system.

Job Description:
- Conduct genetics research under the guidance of a prospective PI at NIG

- Make a presentation of research achievements at the end of the employment period
- Acknowledge support from NIG in publications
