NIMS Postdoctoral Researcher: The National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Frontier Molecules Group in the Research Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA). This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation and enhancement of advanced π-liquid molecular materials.

Creation of advanced π-liquid molecular materials and improvement of their functionality, focusing on liquid electrets and functional π-gels.

National Institute for Materials Science, Namiki-Site, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki, Japan

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Ph.D. degree in the field of chemistry (or expected to obtain one soon).
  • Essential skills in organic synthesis; experience in synthesizing π-conjugated molecules is preferred.
  • Proficiency in either Japanese or English communication.

Job Description

  • Engage in the creation of advanced π-liquid molecular materials.
  • Conduct research to enhance the functionality of π-liquid materials, including developing liquid electrets and functional π-gels.
