Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in a relevant field of life sciences.
  • Documented publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Research experience in transcriptional regulation, cancer biology, functional genomics, or epigenomics.
  • Understanding of advanced molecular cloning methods and Illumina sequencing strategies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with functional genomics methods, organoid cultures, and CRISPR-based approaches.
  • Familiarity with in vivo mouse models and programming languages (Python, Perl, R).

Job Description:

The NORPOD Postdoctoral Fellow will:

  • Establish and design massively parallel reporter assays (MPRAs).
  • Conduct genome-wide functional genomics experiments in organoids.
  • Develop and adapt cutting-edge epigenomics assays.
  • Perform computational analysis and integrate functional genomics datasets.
  • Supervise students and technicians in molecular biology experiments.
  • Write grant applications.
