Scholarship Description: The scholarship, funded by the QuantEduFrance program and associated with ITI QMat, aims to explore the potential of quantum information processing using single-molecule magnets. The emphasis is on optimal control techniques for quantum optimization, particularly shaping microwave electric pulses for faster, more noise-robust, or low-consumption logical gates. The selected candidate will contribute theoretically to this cutting-edge research.

Eligibility: We seek a highly motivated candidate with a master’s degree in theoretical physics, a strong background in quantum mechanics and computer simulations, and preferably experience in molecular physics. The candidate should be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with experts in quantum chemistry, materials chemistry, and applied mathematics. Proficiency in English is essential, along with knowledge of Python and/or Mathematica and/or Matlab, and a good understanding of linear algebra and quantum mechanics.
