Open Positions: Postdoc: The Department of Psychology at Yale University is inviting applications for open positions in the intersection of decision and affective neuroscience. Job Description: The positions involve contributing to the fields of neuroeconomics and computational psychiatry. Researchers will build computational models of decision-making, explaining variability in decision processes and affective experiences. The team uses neuroimaging, pharmacology, and smartphone-based data collection to develop models for mood and behavior. Current projects include predicting symptom changes in individuals with depression or anxiety, exploring brain structure and connectivity, and studying behavior changes over extended periods.

The research utilizes large datasets from smartphone platforms, including The Happiness Project and a previous app with data from 47,067 participants, freely available on Dryad. Collaborations include esteemed researchers from institutions such as Cornell Weill, UCL, Princeton, and DeepMind.
