Open Postdoctoral Researcher Position: The Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics at Comenius University in Bratislava is inviting applications for two postdoctoral researcher positions as part of the TERAIS project. This Horizon Europe twinning project aims to advance Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at a Slovak university. Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent in Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with a focus on Robotics, AI, and/or Neural Networks.
- Excellent programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, Machine Learning frameworks, etc.).
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in human-robot interaction is a plus.
Job Description: The selected candidates will be involved in a developmental project with a focus on:
- Developing and testing neural network algorithms for controlling the simulator of the semi-humanoid NICO robot.
- Transferring algorithms to the physical robot.
- Conducting human-robot interaction experiments.
