Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A thesis-based doctorate in Chemistry, Biomaterials, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with the synthesis and analysis of inorganic nanoparticles (evidenced by publications).
  • Proven experience with in vitro cell assays (evidenced by publications).
  • Preferred experience with:
  • Preparation and analysis of ultrasmall iron oxide nanoparticles.
  • Polymer biomaterials.
  • Synthesis of defined polymers.

Job Description:

  • Primary Tasks:
  • Synthesis and evaluation of coated inorganic nanoparticles.
  • Conducting in vitro assays.
  • Performing in vivo analysis.
