Eligibility/Qualification
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Polymer Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Bioengineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience in:
- Polymer synthesis
- Cell culture
- In vitro assay procedures
- Additional background in:
- Tissue engineering
- Bioprinting
- 3D printing
- Biomaterials
- Rheology
- Finite element simulation (preferred but not mandatory)
Job Description
- Conduct independent research in Biomedical Engineering.
- Collaborate with researchers in the BETA Lab.
- Publish research findings in scientific journals and present at conferences.
- Participate in grant writing and assist with supervising undergraduate research assistants.
- Fulfill Ph.D. program requirements and meet departmental deadlines.
