Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (mandatory) and preferably a Masterโ€™s degree in
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Materials Engineering
    • or a closely related field
  • Strong academic background (good GPA; Ph.D. admission requirements of the ME Department must be met)
  • Strong interest in functional materials research aligned with AIMS Group focus
  • Motivation to pursue advanced doctoral-level research

Job Description

The Ph.D. scholar will:

  • Conduct research on processing and characterization of functional materials
  • Work on intelligent and adaptive material systems
  • Collaborate within the AIMS Group and interdisciplinary research centers
  • Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences
  • Contribute to the development of autonomous and multifunctional devices
