Location:
The position is based at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Natural Sciences at the University of Hamburg, in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron (DESY), and European XFEL GmbH.

Eligibility/Qualification:
Applicants should hold (or be about to complete) an MSc degree or equivalent in physics, chemistry, or related areas. A strong academic background and a passion for research in ultrafast phenomena are essential.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for academic services in the project, with the opportunity to pursue independent research and further academic qualifications, potentially leading to a doctorate. Duties will include contributing to the observation of atomic motions during primary events using ultra-intense electron and X-ray sources to gain new insights into the interplay between structure and dynamics.
