Eligibility / Qualification

  • Required Education:
    • Bachelor’s + Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Degree Recognition:
    • Degrees must be issued by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, OR
    • Applicants with foreign degrees must obtain official homologation to Spanish degrees at the time of application.

Job Description

The successful candidate will participate in the following research activities:

  1. Active involvement in both European and national research projects linked to MXenes.
  2. Development of novel heterogeneous catalysts based on MXenes.
  3. Characterization of physical, chemical, textural, and electronic properties using advanced spectroscopic and microscopic techniques.
  4. Optimization of catalytic activity for target reactions including H₂ production, CO₂/N₂ activation, and synthesis of organic value-added chemicals.
  5. Support in the development of computational models to validate reaction mechanisms.
