Eligibility/Qualification:
- A master’s level degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, materials science, physics, or mechanical engineering.
- Strong motivation for research and a genuine interest in science.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to engage in discussions optimizing experimental setups and effectively communicate findings.
Job Description:
As a Ph.D. student, you will:
- Conduct individual and collaborative research on metallic interconnects for SOEC.
- Design and develop alloys and coatings to enhance interconnect lifespan.
- Engage in hands-on laboratory work utilizing advanced microscopy techniques including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) and Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EBSD).
- Contribute to an international project funded by the Nordic Grand Solutions program.
- Participate in teaching undergraduate students as part of departmental work.
