Eligibility/Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a research-oriented institution in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as Software Defined Radios, Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal vector generators is an advantage.
- Strong interest in cyber-physical systems, wireless communication, and automotive sensor security.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is beneficial but not required.
Job Description
The selected candidates will:
- Work on designing and developing secure ranging and positioning systems, which may involve GNSS, UWB, and 5G technologies.
- Conduct security analyses of perception and navigation sensors for autonomous vehicles, including LiDAR and RADAR.
- Investigate privacy risks associated with evolving communication protocols such as LTE and 5G.
- Explore vulnerabilities in cyber-physical systems and contribute to developing secure alternatives.
- Collaborate with a diverse international team and contribute to a flat hierarchical environment promoting teamwork and innovation.
