Eligibility/Qualification
Postdoctoral Position
- PhD in ecology, applied mathematics, or related field
- Experience in modeling community dynamics, particularly size- or stage-structured models
- Strong publication record
- Excellent communication skills in English
PhD Position
- Masterโs degree in ecology, biology, environmental science, limnology, or related field
- Experience with laboratory experiments and culturing organisms, particularly freshwater snails or other macroinvertebrates
- Familiarity with R or similar tools for ecological data analysis
Description
Postdoctoral Researcher Responsibilities
- Model ecosystem-level impacts of warming and nutrient enrichment on species invasions
- Write scientific manuscripts and present findings at conferences
- Full-time position for one year, with possible extension to 2028
PhD Candidate Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments and maintain freshwater snails
- Participate in field sampling and mesocosm experiments
- Analyze ecological data and write scientific manuscripts
