PHD CANDIDATE – CHARACTERIZING COGNITIVE SYMPTOMATOLOGY AND CONTRIBUTING FACTORS IN OLDER ADULTS WITH BRAIN TUMORS
The collaborative project involves partnerships between Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Amsterdam University Medical Center, and Elisabeth Tweesteden Hospital Tilburg. The PhD candidate will contribute to the characterization of cognitive symptomatology in older brain tumor patients, utilizing quantitative research methods and statistical analyses. The role includes data collection, processing, academic presentations, teaching responsibilities, and engagement in clinical tasks related to brain tumor treatment.
Eligibility:
- Completed (research) master in Neuropsychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (Dutch fluency is essential for data-related tasks).
- Interest in statistical modeling; experience with R/Rstudio is advantageous.
- Clinical experience in (neuro-)psychology, e.g., Basisaantekening Psychodiagnostiek (BAPD).
