Eligibility/Qualification
- Relevant Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong academic background with an average grade of B or better.
- Understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and techniques.
- Good programming skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Preferred Criteria
- Experience in software development; knowledge of recommender systems is an advantage.
- Experience with writing and publishing academic articles.
Job Description
The PhD candidate will:
- Complete the doctoral education and obtain a doctorate.
- Conduct research on algorithmic fairness in job recommender systems.
- Design and experiment with techniques for fairness in recommender systems.
- Publish and disseminate research findings in international platforms.
- Collaborate with national and international partners, particularly those involved in the NorwAI consortium.
